The Liberal Nationals are committed to ensuring our schools receive the very best educational facilities.
That’s why an elected Liberal Nationals Government will contribute over $575,000 to help fit out a new STEM Learning Centre and purchase two school buses at Fountain Gate Secondary College in Narre Warren.
Daniel Andrews has lost control of population growth and our local schools are falling behind with a lack of much needed education facilities.
The Liberal Nationals have a plan to address the pressures caused by unchecked population growth and get ahead of school infrastructure needs, by upgrading the facilities at Fountain Gate Secondary College.
With over 1000 students enrolled at Fountain Gate Secondary, this grant will provide modern, updated technology and facilities to a large number of students who can fully explore their interest in STEM subjects at school.
Only the Liberal Nationals will get back in control of population growth and back Fountain Gate Secondary College so that local students will get the very best education.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:
“The Andrews Labor Government and local MP, Luke Donnellan have ignored the needs of Fountain Gate Secondary for far too long. This funding commitment means that students will now be able to enjoy the facilities they deserve.
The Liberal Nationals are committed to providing new STEM facilities and bus services at Fountain Gate Secondary College and giving local students every chance they need to pursue a quality education.
Only the Liberal Nationals will get back in control of population growth and back Fountain Gate Secondary College so that local students will get the very best education.”
Comments attributable to Liberal Candidate for Narre Warren North, Vikki Fitzgerald:
“Luke Donnellan has been the absent MP for 16 years, choosing to ignore the electorate he represents and has done very little to support schools in all that time – Narre Warren North deserves better.
Fountain Gate Secondary College has continued to cater for their students’ diverse academic and individual learning needs despite this lack of support.
What this commitment from an elected Liberal Government means for Fountain Gate Secondary, is that they will be able to cater for future growth and provide even better educational opportunities for our local students, including transportation to sporting competitions and other educational excursions, at minimal cost to already struggling families.”
